Apple Tree Workshops

One of our most popular events at Jasper Apple Farm are the Apple Tree Workshops.  We have been doing this almost since the time we started the orchard.  It was a great way to meet fellow apple enthusiasts who want a little help in learning how to plant, grow and take care of their own trees. The workshops are on May 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th this year from 9:30am-11:30am.  We start with a discussion on apple trees, then we will then go out into the orchard to practice pruning on developed trees, to ensure you are confident in the care of your own tree.  Next you then pick out a tree to take home and plant.

Seedy Saturdays

WHEN:    Every Saturday in May from 9:00am till noon.  Seeds available include carrots, beans, lettuce, seed potatoes, tomato plants to name a few and they are all organic.

Organic Farming for Kids

WHEN:     Our  program  starts June 2 and runs every Saturday from 9:00am to noon.  They will learn how to start an organic garden for families.  Other activities included in the program are; nature hikes, crafts, bird watching, and games.

Horseback Riding Lessons

WHEN:     Saturday afternoons from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
